Shamanic Healing and Power Animal Companions

Posted in People and Society by admin | Tags: , , , ,

Shamanic companions are important part of everybody’s life journey. We can distinguish four different types of animal companions. First group are “power animals”, these animals give you power in situations when you need it. The second group of companions are “totem animals”. These animals tell us about status of our chakras and the abilities they provide. From these animals we build our personal totem. The third group of animals are “animals allies”. These allies go with us and give us special healing abilities, connect us with all five elements and allow us to move in time-space. The last group of animals are “messengers” . These animals we usually meet on some uncommon places and they want to show us a way how to solve some specific situation. It is always a good option to learn and hear them.

Ice Melt Down Influence on Young Polar Bears Survival

Posted in Animals by admin | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Accelerating arctic ice melt down has not only impact on the raising of global watter level and flooding shelf areas and cities but has impact on species living on the ice too. One of this species is polar bear. Based on study, polar bears have to swim much longer distances to reach a stable ground. This is especially  problem for females with young cubs. The survival rate for cubs that survive the first year has dropped from 65% to 43% in last 30 years. The co-author of a study that used GPS technology to track bears, Geoff York of World Wildlife Fund, said that “Climate change is pulling the sea ice out from under polar bears’ feet, forcing some to swim longer distances to find food and habitat,”. The survival of young cubs is the most important factor that will have extreme impact on the future not only bears but all the species of this planet.

Continental and Oceanic Islands and Their Beauty

Posted in Beauty by admin | Tags: , , , ,

Every island has its own history and the way how it was created. The formation of such islands usually took many millions years. We can separate islands into two categories – continental islands and oceanic islands. Continental islands lie in a continental shelf of a continent. Examples are Barbados or Long Island. The oceanic islands lie outside of continental shelf and in most cases are of volcanic origin like Paul Rocks or Macquarie Island. Each island evolved into a standalone ecosystem with its own fauna and flora and unending beauty.

Social Structure Habits of Wild Lions

Posted in Animals by admin | Tags: , , , ,

Social structure of wild lions is much more complex than other cats. Lions, Panthera leo, live in Africa and in Asia. Lifetime of lions in the wild is about 10 to 14 years. Male lions usually live no more than 10 years because of constant fighting with other males. By rolling over on his back a male lion can avoid aggression from a stronger lion. Lions living in a pride usually consisting from 1-4 males and can have up to 15 females. Lions have many social events. The most important happened after hunting and by drinking. It may look obvious by crowding around food or water is for the pride important. Best hunters are lionesses because there are smaller and faster. The pride cooperates while hunting by crowding the hunted prey and final strike is prompt and killing.

Modern Rock Music of Ana Johnsson

Posted in People and Society by admin | Tags: , , , ,

Anna Lovisa Johnsson alias Ana Johnsson (her artistical name) is one of my favorite Swedish singers. Anna is probably best known for the title song for the SpiderMan 2 movie, named We Are. Anna sings and writes quality rock songs and she likes music band like Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers or Creed. Based on sales statistics, her best selling album was The Way I Am, released in 2004. Her album Little Angel from 2006 was not so successful in number of sales. Anyway Little Angel is minimally as good as the previous one and it is a great compilation of great music rock songs.
